TERMITE CONTROL TAB

  • Termite activity often goes undetected. If termites find a crack as thin as a credit card in your home’s structure, they can get in and eat away without any outwardly visible signs. Many times it is found too late. Effective Termite control is key to a safe home.

  • Termites invade about 5 million homes each year. Every home is at risk, and Homeowners’ insurance rarely covers the damage. That damage can cost you thousands of Dollars.

  • It is possible for 2+ Colonies to forage around a home at the same time. The colony can travel more than 100 yards in search of food, and they only need a 1/16 inch gap or crack to access your home.

TERMITE TREATMENT OPTIONS

  • Termite Inspection: A trained termite specialist will conduct a thorough inspection of both the inside and outside of your home, carefully looking for evidence of termite activity and potential access points. We will provide you with the necessary Inspection Reports. We will also notate any points around your home that may attract future termites.

  • Pre-Treatment: We pretreat the soil of a building site for subterranean termites before the foundation is poured. The pretreatment creates a uniform barrier of termiticide between termites in the soil and the structure of the building. Proper pretreatment of the soil prior to pouring the slab ensures total coverage of the area. Pretreatment should include structures built adjacent to the foundation, such as porches and patios. It is the obligation of the builder to notify us before any additions are poured.
  • Sentricon: After a Certified Sentricon Specialist inspects your property, stations are placed around your home. Utilizing Always Active technology, the Recruit HD bait is immediately active. In-ground stations have a visible service cover only opened by a special key. Preferring the bait nearly 10 times more than wood, worker termites discover and quickly share their find within the colony. Once ingested, the active ingredient in Sentricon prevents termites from maturing through molting. Unable to molt, termites die. And when the colony dies, the queen isn’t too far behind. Like a captain going down with the ship, despite the resolve to survive, there’s just no hope. Imagine worry-free, 24/7 protection now and well into the future. All it takes is your original bait stations and ongoing service from a Certified Sentricon Specialist.

  • Trenching, Rodding, and Injecting: Since subterranean termites live in the soil, Trenching termite treatments are used on the soil surrounding the home to act as a treatment barrier. First, a 12-18 inch trench is dug around the foundation, and the soil is treated with a termiticide. The trench is then refilled. This type of treatment helps prevent future termite infestations, and kills any termites in the house as they return to the nest. This is the most labor intensive, and typically expensive option for Termites.
